The best part of being a wedding photographer in Kamloops is the people I get to meet and the love stories I get to hear. I love Travis and Nicole's love story the have known each since forever! They both went to the same school and grew up together, so you can only imagine the love and history that they share!
Nicole was so relaxed and easy going the whole morning, she was so happy and ready to get married that she didn't have a care in the world. Travis got to do what most grooms wish they could do the morning of, play video games!
Their wedding ceremony was beautiful and at the church that they both grew up in, it was a beautiful service not only showing their love for each other but also their love for God. The church was so beautiful and classic, and their priest was fantastic. OLPH in Kamloops is truly a beautiful church.
After the ceremony and a quick stop at Dairy Queen, also where Nicole's parents stopped on their wedding day. We headed downtown Kamloops to take photos. The wedding party was awesome and extremely fun. The girls even brought their own bowties for photos! I took Nicole and Travis away for a bit to give then a bit of quiet time, and their photos turned out beautiful. I barely had to pose them, they always just went in for a kiss and even at one point I had to tease them about it! Afterwards we headed to the Dunes Golf course and finished up the formals before dinner, and the light was so perfect for sunset wedding photos, between the beautiful light and the changing colours, this wedding was a perfect fall wedding.
The Reception was fantastic between, awesome memories and lost power rangers being returned. The night was a perfect homage to Nicole and Travis. There were even some great videos, from Travis and his best friend rapping in a school play. To Nicole singing at her uncle and Aunts wedding was she was tiny, (ok, I admit it I teared up at this).
I truly am blessed to meet so many fantastic people and I truly feel honoured to be apart of their love story. Nicole and Travis you guys are the kindest, most thoughtful couple, and even on your wedding day you were making sure we were fed and comfortable and happy. I am so lucky to have met the both of you! Have an amazing honeymoon!
