The day of Robbie and Elizabeth's wedding started with a crazy storm, Salmon arm had a crazy rain and wind storm and it was worrisome with trees falling and power going out while the girls were getting ready. I was staring at my weather app the whole morning hoping for something promising. With our first look time coming up quickly the rain broke and the sun came out, the day went from a dark and stormy day to the most perfect warm and happy day.
I love first looks, there is something about the moment of you and your husband seeing each other for the first time and it being just the two of you, where you don't have to hide your emotions. Walking up to to our meeting spot I could see how nervous Elizabeth was, but the second she walked around the corner you could see her fully relax. The second that Robbie turned around you could feel the love and joy they share for each other.
We went and finished our photos up on the beautiful Wharf in Salmon arm and the sky was so beautiful and stunning. Elizabeth looked so stunning that everyone kept stopping and telling her how beautiful she looked, even at one point a lady felt the need to confirm that she was talking about the bride and not me.
Their ceremony was held a the Elks hall and was such a beautiful ceremony, that surrounded Robbie and Elizabeth with the love and laughter of family and their closest friends.
I had the most wonderful day with Robbie and Elizabeth and I truly love my job, I get to spend the best days with the coolest people and I could believe having any other job in the world!
