Where do I begin, I was asked one of the greatest honours one could be asked. My sister asked me to be one of her supports during her delivery of her first baby. I was beyond excited to be invited on this amazing journey.
Baby L has put his momma through a lot in the last 9 months, and he made sure to make her work real hard to meet him. After a very long and very hard labour, he arrived and surprised his momma and daddy, I totally forgot to see if he was a boy or a girl, and here I am bawling like a baby when I hear Charity yell "its a boy"!!!!
We all cried and hugged each other as we heard his little cries, I was and am so proud of my sister, she did so well the entire time and blew me away at what she could handle and how strong she was. Her husband Ryan was truly amazing, to see how he loved and supported his wife the entire time and for him to be so encouraging even though you could see how much it hurt him to see his beautiful wife in so much pain.
I am so proud of my family and I am so happy to be able to tell L that I was there when he was born and that his Momma and daddy worked so hard together to welcome him into the world.
Ryan and Charity, I already know watching you with L in these past few days that you are and will be the most amazing parents, I am so thankful to have been here during this sacred time watching you two grow, not only as a family but also as a Husband and wife!
Congratulations you both! I love you more than I can express!
