I came up with the idea of a night wedding after seeing Selma’s hair and amazing tattoos, I wanted something to compliment the amazing colour of red she has and nothing to take away from her rocking tattoos, so what better than a deep night blue with hints of silver and rose gold.
Since Selma isn’t your typical bride we couldn’t have a typical setting for the wedding, that is why I chose such a naturally beautiful location and Rainbow's Roost is the perfect location. We wanted a dark yet romantic feeling, but with glamour and a hint of sparkle, because what girl doesn’t like sparkle. I love the idea of hundreds of candles to make the asile and nothing more so not to take away from the couple.
Selma’s look came together so perfectly with the help of the amazing Aglow Bridal, they helped us find the most perfect Truvelle dress and the perfect hair accessory that was subtle yet awesomely fitting. Her hair and makeup was done by herself, she is one amazing Hair stylist and makeup artist. You can check out her salon here!
Michael was damn good looking too! He was suited up by Moore’s clothing and he is wearing a perfectly sexy Calvin Kline suit. The was perfectly groomed and smelling awesome thanks to Owl Brand product, who make the most amazing Beard and grooming products!
For the table we paired together the most amazing candelabra and beautiful floral arrangements made up from Dark Horse Designs and Dirt. With touches of silver and blue the table looked so elegant with beautiful pops of colour. The lighting truly set the mood of the session, and I don’t believe that everything would of come together so well without it. A huge shout out to GK Sound for the amazing setup, I just said make it look pretty and it truly blew me away the moment we turned the lights on!
For wedding favours, we wanted to stick to fun and off beat, so when I thought of a DIY tattoo station it fit so perfectly that we had to do it! We also had local soap at each place setting, made by Salt of the Earth bath products! The smell of the Chai soap smelled so amazing and looked so cute in little boxes!
I wanted a cake that was also not your normal wedding cake and I was so excited to get Sweet spot to create an amazing graffiti cake with such beautiful words that explained the couple and relationship so well!
